With this Annual Report, we aim to provide supporters of The Sharing Place Food Bank with a reasonably comprehensive overview of how The Sharing Place has weathered the last 12 months.

The worldwide economic downturn was in full swing a year ago. One result at the local level was that the number of Orillia-area people who were forced to come to us for food was higher than ever before.

Sadly, things have worsened since then. In fact, our numbers today are almost 30% higher than they were one year ago.

Currently, we are feeding at least 1,300 mouths a month, and our hard-working Operations Manager Noella Rubino and her volunteers are busier than ever.
